Before building Periscope, our team spent years working through ShipProjects on marine engineering, vessel systems, automation and onboard installations. That meant solving problems where they actually happen - on board, together with crews and technical teams.
Today, we bring that same practical approach to voyage planning, fuel performance and vessel data.
ShipProjects was founded in 2018 as a marine engineering company. Over the years, the team has worked on vessels across electrical systems, automation, 3D scanning, technical documentation and onboard installations.
Working this close to vessels made one thing obvious: a lot of operational decisions were still being made with fragmented data, manual processes and too much uncertainty. Periscope grew from that experience.
Instead of building software around an ideal version of shipping, we built it around how vessels and shore teams actually work.
